What Is a Mastermind Group?
A Mastermind Group is a group of people with a similar interest who want to achieve extraordinary goals in the next twelve months and help others do the same. Often they are led by a group facilitator or coach.
The idea of a Mastermind Group was introduced by Napoleon Hill in Think and Grow Rich:
“The coordination of knowledge and effort of two or more people, who work toward a definite purpose, in the spirit of harmony.”
“No two minds ever come together without thereby creating a third, invisible intangible force, which may be likened to a third mind.”
What Are the Particulars?
- Each mastermind group will consist of 2 – 6 members and a facilitator.
- The groups will meet virtually each month for 1 to 1/2 hours, depending on the size of the group.
- There will be an application process to join the group and only one business “type” (e.g. graphic artist, hair stylist, fitness instructor, etc.) will be allowed to join each group.
- Casey Dawes, experienced business coach will facilitate and mentor each group.
- Each group meeting will begin with a business topic presentation determined by the needs and desires of the group. (An example might be “effective sales techniques.”) After the presentation, each member will give an accounting of his/her commitments from the previous meeting, present his/her current problems for group help, brainstorm solutions to the problem and set commitments for the following month.
- Each member also gets two 20-minute individual coaching calls a month.
The charge is $39/month.
