Small Business Coaching for Women Entrepreneurs

I’ve been coaching women small business owners and women entrepreneurs for over six years.  Most of my clients have fewer than 20 employees and a high percentage are solo-preneurs such as consultants. In that time I’ve discovered that my business clients want the same basic things:

  • Enough revenue to cover their expenses at work and at home, with a little extra for vacations, kids, savings, etc.
  • More ease in their daily lives–they have too much to do and would like more time for family, friends, exercise, spiritual lives, hobbies, etc.
  • More security against potential business failure.

That’s what I work with my clients to achieve.

Basic Small Business Coaching Program
for Women Entrepreneurs

I follow a strategy to cover the foundation for a small business. It covers the following basic steps to insure financial stability and make the life of the business owner easier.

1. Review basic business goals. We review your near-term and long-term business goals and determine the gap between where you are now and where you want to be. Then we develop 2-3 strategies to help you close the gap. These strategies may include doing some life coaching if we find that your habits and beliefs are preventing you from achieving what you want to achieve. If you have one, we’ll look at your business plan.

2. Review your financials to determine your solvency. I’ll teach you how to work with your bookkeeper on a monthly basis to understand financial reports so you can make sound financial decisions to prevent business failure.

3. Review your marketing and sales. We’ll check your return on investment and determine how to increase the number of qualified leads you’re getting. This includes reviewing your web site for good traffic-drawing techniques like SEO and social media. We’ll make sure that you’re optimized for conversion, both online and with traditional marketing channels. Finally we’ll make sure you have a strong follow-up system in place.

4. Review your systems. Most women small business owners find that when they have good systems and procedures in place they have more time, less confusion and things get done more efficiently. Good systems and procedures allow you to delegate more easily.

5. Review management techniques. Whether you have employees or hire outside consultants, good management is imperative. Are you doing employee reviews and holding others accountable? Providing clear communication and setting expectations accurately? Are your relationship/parenting issues getting in the way of dealing with other people?

What Does Small Business Coaching Cost?

“The very first month I worked with Casey she showed me how to save double the amount of her monthly fee. In the past year she has structured my daily work time to a third of what I was spending previously, giving me a life outside of my business. She has shown me how to capture time and money. I cannot recommend her highly enough!”

~ Traci Tompkins, Owner ABC Sedans and Limousines in Santa Cruz, CA

A three-month program to do a basic review of your business costs $990. It includes:

  • Two 1.5 hour sessions a month either over the phone or in person (travel fees apply)
  • My reviews/recommendations of your documents
  • Up to 1 hour of additional phone/email support each month

Normal coaching fees apply after the three-month period. Those are $350 for 2 sessions a month and $195 for 1 session a month.
