Casey Dawes

Casey Dawes works with women business owners to help them step into their power as business leaders. She is a small business consultant, coach and business services provider to women business owners of small companies (under 50 employees) primarily located near San Jose, California and the greater San Francisco Bay Area.

Prior to beginning her coaching training in 2003, Casey worked in multiple careers ranging from being a stage-hand at an Actor’s Equity theater in New England to running a multi-million dollar international software users group (IDUG).

During her 25+ years in the technical industry, Casey personally consulted for organizations such as AT&T, Verizon, Principal Financial and UPS, helping them understand and organize their customer data to create more business opportunities for these large corporations. She has been the “closer” for sales of consulting services to these organizations and created and launched a training program at IBM for their database sales people. This gives her a deep background in understanding both technology and marketing and sales. She brings that knowledge to her work with women entrepreneurs to help them understand and leverage technology tools and social networking media, such as Twitter, Linked-in and Facebook.

Casey has helped many women small business owners reach their financial and operational goals through consulting, coaching and education. Her company, Wise Woman Shining, has partnered with top local business service providers dedicated to help women who are ready to start their own business get started fast and with a firm foundation so that they have the best chance of success.

Casey lives on the Monterey Bay south of San Francisco with her husband, Ken. They are owned by two cats – Mongo and Hera.

Casey is Past President of Silicon Valley Coach Federation, a graduate of CoachU and has received her ACC credidation from the International Coach Federation. Casey is a graduate of Randolph Twp. High School in New Jersey, Montclair State University in New Jersey and the University of Michigan. She is VP of Membership for the NAWBO Silicon Valley Chapter.
